I have found my voice and no one--no one--is going to take it from me now!

For the sake of other children who will also be probable victims, I am supporting your voice to speak out the truth - and fight for it. Victims of incest may recover but their scars remain and the family she hopes to receive comfort from eventually forsake her. "Corpuz" is a story of an abuser, and he has received just punishment for his crime (it is a crime) but his daughter and granddaughter will carry the stigma all their lives. We pray for your cause and through your book, which I hope becomes a movie, may God expose this hidden cancer in our society.

Standing round of appause for this write and the women who find the strength not only to speak out but to speak out for others who have also suffered but may not have the strength to speak for themselves. Your voice is being heard more and more every day Linda and the anti abuse advocates are making a big difference in a crime that in past all too often was brushed under the carpet.

| Until I read your marvelous book Redeeming Our Treasures, I never knew why my siblings hated me so much. Some still do to this day and would love to stop me from talking. But like you, and living a parallel life for many years I too have found my voice. I tell it like it was and still is today. You are being used in a mighty way by the Redeemer to assist other victims in their choice to search for their own healing. |

Powerful write, Linda; I am so sorry you had to endure this hell; but know this: you are a SURVIVOR, and you are reaching out to help others. All I have to say is this: good on you!
Keep on writing, and keep on giving out the needed information; this crime needs to be dealt with swiftly!! I have NO tolerance for those who intentionally abuse others, be it physically, emotionally, verbally, OR sexually!!
(((HUGS))), much love, and prayers~
As always, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :( |

| Wow, Linda. I have been looking at other writer's blogs and I was surprised that a familar face wrote about her trama with incest and finally came out to tell her story. It's sad this violation is more common that we think. You indeed are doing the Lord's work and are instrument in aiding the healing of so many broken souls out there. God Bless, Susan |

Dear Linda,
Some powerful stuff here. Thank you for choosing life so that, through your story and advocacy, others will survive, cast their lives anew and heal to the extent they can.
