Penny

Brown skin glowing in the sun

Her worth is priceless

Moving gracefully from hand to hand

Her soul is torn inside and out,

Yet, she still holds her own

Stories of gold on one side

Life preserved on the other

The leader of many

Wise beyond her years

Distinctive and original in character

Caring, stylish, and sweet as candy

Penny is an ordinary woman

Penny is me
