An idea for book signings
With the holidays coming up I'm constantly looking for attention getters at my book signings. Last week I went to the Dollar Store and found Halloween, pocket type, potholders. My book fits perfectly inside the pocket so when someone bought a copy of my book I "gift bagged it" by putting it using the potholders. They loved this little extra. I know potholders won't fit all types of books but I've also found book size Christmas bags that will work just as well. This is an inexpensive idea. The potholders are $1.00 each but the Christmas bags were 10 for $1.00 and the customers really seem to enjoy the little added touch.
