A meaning in something so simple...This is a true story and happened to me on Sunday Morning July 19 2009

God’s Meaning
Today at Church I was Ministering in Dance.
I was using a beautiful white satin flag, with purple writing, and on that flag was the word HOLY.
We minister in two Services, and during the first Service my flag stayed safely secured to the pole it was on. The Dance went well no mishaps, the flag flying majestically to and fro.
The second service has begun; the flag God has me using is in the same place where I left it. Sitting there so pretty and so silent. After Praise and worship, and a few announcements, it’s time to once again lift up a dance offering unto the Lord God Almighty. Everything is going fine, and beautiful, I feel the Lords presence around me, I grab the flag and start to proceed down the middle aisle, swinging that Majestic Purple and White Satin flag, then all of sudden, it jumped right off the flag pole.
What I saw may sound funny to you, but I am in aw by it! It swiveled around in the air like just suspended by something the eyes could not see, Then I stuck my flag pole through the middle of the flag flying in a circle, it seemed like it was hugging the pole. As I am watching this I remember saying to God “Please help me, what do I do now”. I actually thought it quit humorous at this point,
But I Love and trust my God with all I am!
Next thing I knew, the flag was in my hands, and instead of it being on the pole swinging majestically, it was in my hands, and God using me to move it throughout and to a fro, majestically, and with the Honor that is due to Him that sits on the thrown.
How privileged I felt at that moment with my time, with my daddy! He picked me to do something that was in His plan! I am humbled and honored, that my daddy loves me that much!
I went home and thought about what had happened and it pondered in my heart, all through the day. I asked God what he did with what happened, and or if it had meaning.
I want everything I do for the Lord to have meaning, and Obedience
I still had not had a meaning, until my husband made a comment….He said “maybe God did not want a pole holding it up, maybe He wanted someone to hold it”.
WOW God, how amazing are you! I understand now…..Lord God almighty just wants us to take Him in our hands, and trust Him, rely on Him, and be Obedient.
Body of Christ
stop putting Yourself in your own hands
and try putting God in your hands!
We need to stop and look up, and evaluate and trust that whatever is falling, we can catch, and do His will, but
BE WILLING TO DO ALL THAT HE COMMANDS!
Matthew 10:7-8 “And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.” “Heal the sick, cleanse the leapers, and raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely you give.”
