I had heard the legends but never believed them until the day I came face to face with the beast.
A hideous creature with blood-shot eyes and razor sharp claws hell-bent on my destruction.

Nightmares of it still haunt me to this very day even after 5 long years I will never forget.
My name is Edward Rothstein and the story I'm about to tell you is one filled with chaos and destruction.

It happened in the small town of Gedsbergh a once peaceful and properous town and so the story begins....


My family and I had lived in Gedsbergh for nearly 10 years,it was a very peaceful town with kind-hearted citizens.
My father worked as an engineer repairing faulty machinery while my mother spent the day looking after my little brother.

I had just graduated and was making preparations for college"Man I can't believe I was accepted to Yale".
My mother was so estatic as was my father while I was merely in awe of what was about to happen.

Little did I know that college would be the least of my problems,I placed the letter from Yale in my pocket as I climbed the stairs and entered my room.
Clothes and books littered the floor as I opened the closet door and sighed"This room is a freakin mess"I thought to myself as I stared out the window.

I shook my head as I smiled"I still can't believe I was accepted into Yale"I continued to talk to myself as my mother entered my room.
"It's going to be quiet without you here"I shrugged my shoulders as I replied"I'm going to miss you too Mom".

She smiled as she hugged me tightly"I wish only the best for you Edward"I nodded as I kissed her cheek"I know Mom and I think that our luck may be changing for the better".
If I had only known just how wrong I truly was if I had only known what was going to happen next things may have gone differently,but now I can only ponder about what might have been.
