An interesting review of the events that took place one evening at Red Lobster

So, about four months ago, my sister was nice enough to give me a Red Lobster gift card for my birthday.  The gift card was for $100, which could easily buy two people a nice dinner.  Since I'm so frugal, I went through my local entertainment book looking for Red Lobster coupons; I found a buy one entree get one free coupon, meaning I could probably squeeze at least two dinners out of my one gift card.

I'm not sure whether it was cheap skate karma biting me in the butt or what, but the night never quite turned out how I would have liked.  Anyways, things started out alright, I got the Ultimate Feast and my girlfriend got the Seaside Shrimp Trio.  The Ultimate Feast comes with a split Maine lobster tail, steamed snow crab legs, garlic shrimp scampi and Walt’s Favorite Shrimp.  The Seaside Shrimp Trio comes with a sampling of Walt’s Favorite Shrimp, savory garlic shrimp scampi and shrimp linguini Alfredo. 

The food was absolutely delicious up until the Linguini.  My girlfriend was about half way through the linguini when she found a little surprise buried in the middle of it.

There was a bandage buried in the middle of her pasta!

I can understand things falling in the food, perhaps a random vegetable or a mushroom, but not a bandage! We spoke to the manager and obviously he covered our entire bill and also was nice enough to give us another $50 gift card to try and get us to come back.

I left Red Lobster rather upset, but after a few days cooled down and I've actually gone back and used my gift cards up.  I'm pretty sure after I screamed at the manager, he made sure that every employee who cooks will wear gloves for the rest of his employment at Red Lobster!
