Louisiana is missing her son, who just got married nearly a week ago.

Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, Nashville, TN., 11:09 a.m., D.S.T.~

Dear Journal~

Can't be long; am at work and am on break.  I go back on the clock in less than an hour, so this is going to be quick.

Louie here. Hope this finds you well.  As for me, I've been an emotional wreck since last Saturday, when our (nearly) 19-year-old son, Johnathon, got married.  He and his new bride, the former Rebekka Rachel Cohen, have left for their honeymoon; they went to Alaska for two weeks.  I just pray and hope that nothing happens to them; both have had it rough with their health ...

I pray every day for them ...

I miss Johnny's sunny personality and gargantuan smile and I miss Rebekka's sweet, tinkling laughter.  I miss the way they stare at each other like two lovesick pups and the way they keep holding hands at any given opportunity.  They have flown the coop and now our family is smaller by two.

And then next year Ronee' will be getting married to Michael Stinkowitz.  Know I am going to be a basketcase then too!

I'm just glad that Johnny and Rebekka are going to live here in Nashville; that way I can still see them whenever they come over.  I wish nothing but the best of what life has to offer for them; they deserve it after all they have been through with their health!

Johnny and Rebekkah will be living where Melizza and Dianna live; they live in an apartment complex not far from us; it's for disabled adults.

Work is going well: have been working lots of hours; have to in order to pay off the wedding costs and the ever-mounting bills that never seem to end!  The kids are all enjoying school or college life or even their own families and are all planning to come home for Thanksgiving and Christmas, so it won't be long before the house is full to bursting with kids and grandkids once again!

Speaking of grandchildren: Anh and Thu are having a girl!  She is due next month; Thu is ready to pop!  They are going to name her Bella Thu Grace Sandusky and so far the preganncy has been progressing very well.  I pray this continues!  Had Thu not lost her first baby, this would have been their second child.

Bill was hoping for another grandson, but I told him to be happy: as long as Bella is born healthy, then that is the most important thing!

Well, I hate to cut this short, but I have to get back to work: they need me in the Medical ICU.  Code Blue.  +Sigh+  Seems that the fun and excitement never ends here at Nashville Mem ...

Take care and God bless!

~Love, your friend in Tennessee, Louie May.  :)
