December 2010, Rockford, Illinois~
Wendy Eagan here.
I'm the one who wrote of what's been going on since the moon blew up a little over a year ago. Seems that things continue to get stranger and stranger ...
As of now, over 100,000 people have died, either from sickness/disease, falling projectiles from the sky (moon rocks or asteroids, perhaps), war/violence, or being trampled on by hysteria-ridden people. The weather continues to be crazy: on Christmas Day, our celebrations were interrupted by another power outage, and also the weather: we had an F-7 tornado pass about 40 miles northeast of here: you could hear it in the distance. Sounded just like a freight train. The tornado destroyed everything in its path, leaving nothing but ground and devastation. Over 2,000 people were killed as a result.
Now people in that part of town are probably picking up the pieces and licking their wounds, wondering what they are going to do in order to start over with their lives.
The lightning from the storm was spectacular. It was electric pink and orange, even red. It was terrifying ... we were due to get hit by this storm, but then it suddenly veered northeast, and it hit Elgin, Illinois, instead. Tornado wiped it clean off the face of the earth.
Our Christmas was pretty good, all things considering, until the power went out and the storm warnings. I was so scared; I hate tornadoes anyway, and I wondered what we would had done if that monster had come for our city. There'd be no way we'd survive. None.
I have an aunt who lives in Elgin. I wonder if she or her family even survived ... I am not a religious person, but I will have to say some prayers for her and her family ...
Seems like that's the only thing I can do right now ...
Well, I am going to go. Got a new laptop and wanted to write a quick update before the power goes out again. This is Wendy Eagan saying goodbye. Take care and .... (Power dies)
To be continued.
