I can't do it by myself.....
As I backed out the driveway I lowered the visor, trying to block out the blinding sunshine. We, the boyz...Meko and Bailey and I were only about a mile from home when the violent storm hit. The beautiful sunshine hid behind the looming, threatening black thunder clouds. Lightning struck within miles of the car. Meko sat comfortably on my lap while Bailey constantly jumped from the front seat to the back seat, terrified. The pounding rain threatened my vision, and the intense downpour flooded the streets causing me to drive through high water. Which in turn temporarily shorted the electrical system in my car causing the dash lights to go out as well as the power steering. We were only gone from home fifteen minutes before we were on our way back home. I watched poor Bailey suffer from the fright of all that was going on outside the car, while Meko watched feeling safe on my lap.
The intensity of the storm reminded me of a few people I've talked with lately who try to "weather the storm of their life" by themselves. I learned a lot from my two dogs watching their reaction to what was happening outside the car.
Habakkuk 3:19 The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills.

Your bottom line was so powerful: Habakkuk 3:19 The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills.
Amen! With Jesus we can overcome anything!
Peace, love and blessings,
