Her five year old is dying of aids because at the age of two she stepped on a contaminated needle, used by a druggie with Aids...

" Mommy when I am in Heaven will I sing with the angels? "

Questions like that were hard to answer, they brought so much sadness to her heart, because she knew soon she would have to say goodbye to her little girl. Asia was dying of Aids.

It wasnít fair for a five year old to have to worry about death. She should be thinking about life.

Sandra hated watching Asia grow worse and worse by the day, she was no longer able to eat, a tube had to be inserted to feed her. The tube caused pain, but it was the only way she could get nourishment. Sandra found herself crying to God with angry tears.

It made Sandra full of anger and despise when she thought of how little Asia had gotten Aids, when she was only two she had stepped on a dirty needle used by a drug user who had Aids and by four she was showing symptoms of having full blown aids. It just wasnít fair, none of it was fair at all.

Asia was bone thin now, and it hurt Sandra so bad to see her so thin and Fragile, she weighed less at five than she had at one. It made Sandra angry because in the end it would be a drug needle that would take Asia life, someone was so careless that they just threw it on the ground, probably knowing they were sick.

" Asia you will sing with the Angels, and Jesus will hold you in his lap. "

" Mommy I am going to see Jesus soon arenít I? "

" Asia I think so. "

" You will miss me huh Mommy. "

" I will miss you more than life itself Asia, you are all I have in the world. "

" Donít be to sad Mommy I will be watching you from Heaven, I am sure Heaven has windows. "

" I think they do too Asia. "

A few weeks after the conversation, Asia died laying in her Mothers arms, while her Mother recited Asiaís favorite prayer

.Now I lay me down to sleep,

I pray the Lord my soul to keep,

And If I should die before I wake,

I pray the Lord my soul to take.

Her soul had been taken that night in her Motherís arm, taking straight to Heaven where she would sing with the angels and sit on Jesusís lap.

Somehow Sandra would have to get through life without her precious little girl Asia.

(((HUGS))) (long distance, as I have the flu) and much love, your (sick) Tx. friend, Karen Lynn. :( >tears, tears, tears <
