Cajun Gold is missing her Human Mommy, who is currently in the hospital.
I miss my mommy. I haven't seen her since Wednesday, and I am one very lonely little Doggie! *howling pitifully*
My mommy went into the Human Hospital to get her back fixed; she has had a lot of pain in her back, and she has had a lot of trouble with her walking. She had her surgery on Friday, and she is getting better, but she will be in the Human Hospital until tomorrow sometime. I am so glad she is coming home; I am going to shower her with Doggie-Style Hugs and Kissies! The house has not been the same without my mommy, and I have been very sad. Mommy makes the house a much happier place, with her wonderful Human Cooking, her beautiful singing voice (to me she sounds just like an Angel!), her smell (she smells just like flowers!), and just being here for the Humans and us Animals.
But mommy is getting better, and I can be thankful for that! I was afraid that she'd wind up Paralyzed (not being able to move her legs) and using a Wheelchair, but she got brave, and she decided to get her back fixed because she was sick of living with the pain for so long. So she will be able to walk; but when she comes home from the Human Hospital, we will have to do our part to make things easier for her. She will be sore, and she won't get around that well until she heals up; until then, we have to take care of her and give her lots of love!

Karen,
Good write. I believe that animals do know and understadn what is going on in their world. So often this is overlooked simply because they can't speak our language and many can't understand theirs. Always a delight to visit and read your work. |

| Maybe if you ask daddy he will put you on the phone to mommy. My baby Trooper did this and daddy let him hear my voice. He was so happy. Ringo my little fella also likes to talk on the telephone when one of us is away. All the fur kids get to hear the voice. But it is so nice when you go home and there the kids are. |

| This is good and so true... our pets have a way of knowing when things are not "just right." When my wife came home, after being in the hospital for two weeks, after a car accident, both our cat and dog were so excited to see her, but they also seem to sense her pain. They'd both lay with her. After awhile, the dog would wander off and come back later, but our cat, for the next month laid next to her, being "mommy's mom." |
