Maria and Lacey return yet another letter to the Mother, this time they are not so mad..

July.18.05

Dear Mamma:

It's past our bedtime Mamma, but Louisa said we could stay up long enough to write to you. Is it really true Susie might get to come here, and you be moved to a hospital near us. Will we really truly get to be a family again?

Mamma we were mad, and I know it hurt you, but we can't help our feelings, remember you always told us it was okay to talk about our feelings? We hope that is still true !

Mamma we got to go to the fair, and it was lots of fun, but it was sad too, cause you weren't there, we got to ride rides, and eat cotton candy, but we missed you and Susie Mamma>

Mamma daddy was mean to us, but that was not your fault, we were scared of Daddy too. He was not a nice Daddy, he was a very, very mean Daddy, and he said Jesus wasn't real! That made us very sad, because Jesus is real, isn't he Mamma?! Kendra says so, and you did too.

Well Mamma Louisa says we need to go to bed, and you need lots of rest too. I hope you get to come to the hospital by us, that would make us very happy.
