Lousiana Sandusky in Tennessee e-mails her friend in Kentucky, a mother to three children.
 Sunday, February 19, 2006,7:49 p.m., C.S.T.~
Dear Jenna Fiona~
I suppose you are wondering why I haven't written to you in so long. I am sorry, but when you have as many children as I do, what free time I DO have is very precious to me. I hope you understand.
How are Travis, Reba, and Loretta doing? I hope that they are all well. My children are doing fine; but our youngest, Arjun, was recently in the hospital with a respiratory virus. He is doing much better now, but he is on supplimental oxygen and is taking medication until his lungs have fully recovered. I am just glad that the worst is over for him; he gave us quite a scare!
How is the weather there in Kentucky? Here it is starting to ice up: we are under winter weather warnings, and they said if you don't have to go out, DON'T. So we are staying in. I have to work tomorrow, but I jsut may call in if the weather is bad out. Of course, I have gone to work before when the weather is nasty, but I really don't care to. However, hospitals NEVER close, so if they need my services, I will call beforehand before venturing out. I do hope that the weather there in Louisiville is okay!
Besides working full time, writing (I do most of my writing when the kids are in bed or on the weekends), raising my village LOL, and taking care of my hubby and parents, I don't have much time to take a breather. I have to keep figthing to try to get my mail answered: seems like as soon as I get one letter answered, here comes another one, hot on its heels! YIKES! Oh, well--I don't mind; I really don't!
I now have three books out (two about my family, and one about nursing), and I have sent my manuscript in. Hopefully, it will be approved. I did a children's book about special-needs adoption, based on my own experiences (but yet done in a fictionalized manner). If the manuscript is approved, then I will have my fourth book out. I absolutely LOVE to write; it relaxes me, and I love the power behind the written word! :)
Well, Jenna, I will write to you again soon. Again, please forgive me for not writing to you in so long. Please tell your children hello, and God bless you always! Do write when you can! I'll be waiting for your letter!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tennessee, Louie May. :D
