Kate Grimswold in Denver, Colorado, writes back to a woman in Tennessee who has fifty-three adopted children (most with special needs).
 Tuesday, April 25, 2006, 5 a.m., M.T., Denver, Colorado~
Dear Louisiana Mayrah Sandusky~
Thank you for your interesting letter of yesterday; I opened up my in-box just a little bit ago, and there was your letter! :) It was nice to hear from you!
I will be looking forward to your book, "A Family Made Out Of Miracles And Rainbows: A True Story Of Love And International Adoption", in the mail. You don't have to send it to me free of charge; I will gladly pay you for it! I insist! :) LOL Good for you; I enjoy reading, and I always enjoy a new book to curl up with at night before I go to sleep! :)
I am sorry you lost one of your children. That is so sad! Or did you mean that you lost all THREE? If so, I am sorry that you have had to endure so much tragedy! No person living should have to endure so much heartache! You will be in my prayers now more than ever!
Yes, it IS cold here. We DID have snow yesterday. Believe it or not, March and April are the times of snow here in the Denver area. Sometimes snow will stick around as long as May or June before spring finally takes hold here. Oh, well, we don't mind: my husband, myself, and our able-bodied children love to ski, so what is a little more snow?? *grins*
I hope the severe weather there has ended. I am glad that your house was spared and your daughter is okay now. That must have been scary for you! Yikes! (Sounds like to me that you need ot move to Alaska! They don't have severe weather there! LOL The most severe thing they have up there--besides the cold, that is--are solar storms that cause the Northern Lights! LOL I don't think the Lights spark tornadoes, lightning, thunder, hail, high winds, or flooding rains! LOL)
Well, the baby (Tristan) is calling (he needs to go to the potty), so I will let you go now before there is a nasty accident in his bed. I am sorry, but soiled sheets is something that I DON'T want to deal with now, so early in the morning! Take care, and God bless you mightily!
Love and ((((many hugsssssss))), your new friend in Denver, Colorado, Kate (Katy) Grimswold (mamma to 16 children). :D
