the evening~21~1876

It was emotional to see her deal out her last bread.  She let no man take advantage of her.

Ms. Saltwater crosses her Merino ewes with Rambouillet rams.

I, Shawpita, Anasazi, (ancient ones) took only a small balance for my self.  I sliced buffalo thin, shared with her.

"Durango Colorado rock sage and bear grass...Ms. Saltwater has long walk to Fort Defiance Arizona to sell her wool.  By 1886, my people will have a million pounds of wool to trade," Ms. Saltwater said, after eating bread, buffalo, and the rum, falling asleep on my Teec Nos Pos weaved rug.

I took off her buckskin to see her woman.  I rubbed her sacred Blanca Peak and Hesperus Peak.

I jumped on her hard, priced her pawn ticket right there and then.

     sateen - $1.45

     velveteen - 2.50

wool - 4.35 plus $2 to trade out

Ms. Saltwater awoke from rum dream.  "You better be careful Shawpita, that dark tunnel where your finger is the entrance to Wildhorse Canyon."

And the lightning struck and produced the quantity of detritus, three obsidian flows, black, brown, and red washed from Ms. Saltwater,
she turned to obsidian, transparent, closely-spaced horizontal black bands.

I inserted her stone of raw obsidian into Great Basin.  Lightning struck again and again, eagle lifted me up to Utah's Mineral Mountains...

This is a "complete" offering in so many ways, Sage. Much of your writings make me realize how little I know. Thank you, as always. Love and peace to you,

Add the totally slamming artwork to the mystical Native American music complete with eagle song then blend in the richly metaphorical language of DURANGO COLORADO: SHAWPITA'S JOURNAL and what does one get? An amazingly innovative experience in virtual theatre on a single page. Deeply impressive and thoroughly entertaining creative artistry.

Sage, WOW!!! It's amazing how you can have me travel back through time and experience your stories. Always educational and titilating, never too much or too little ... always just right.
