In this week's Studio Reader Stan comic strip (now animated), SRS visits his literary agent... Will he regret it again?

This week's strip was inspired by my ex-agent. Since I had written some family comedy screenplays, she encouraged me to start writing TV scripts for kid shows.

Then she had her assistant work with me for a month on getting a draft of one of these scripts ready.

Then, she asked me to call her, whereupon I assumed she had gotten me a meeting to pitch my script. That was when she said she didn't want to represent me anymore.

A little while later, I found out from the assistant that she made the decision because there wasn't enough money in kids TV for her to spend time trying to sell me and my scripts.
