Being a Christian is often an offense punishable by death or torture in Kabul, and we were not ready to fact that kind of pain.

Hi its me Amere I have not written in a long time because I have been busy.  Dad has come back and forth from Kabul, but he is home now and we are praising the Lord.

School is going well, I am no longer the oddity I once was, they are accepting me more and more now.  I am no longer called a terroist child, because of the fact that I am from Kabul, but I am an American now, and as I have stated before we fled our country before 9'11 for fear of persecution for being Christians.  Being a Christian is often an offense punishable by death or torture in Kabul, and we were not ready to fact that kind of pain.

My cousins are all doing well, and I am thankful for that.

I am in the seventh grade now, it is hard to believe.  Mom says I am growing up before her eyes and that one day she is going to wake up and I am going to be grown.  It kind of makes her sad, thinking of when I am grown and leave home, but I have a few more years of childhood left, and I know she will cherish them.

God Bless

Amere~
