Dear Journal~
I won't be long today; have to take my husband, Bill, to the emergent care center; he hurt his back somehow. He woke up with searing pain in his lower back and down both legs; think his sciatica may be flaring up again. He's in agony; it makes my own back twitch in pain whenever I look at him!
Bill has an appointment at 11:30 this morning with Dr. Harlowe, his primary doctor. Hopefully the good doctor can give him something to alleviate the pain in his back and legs, but personally, I think my husband needs to have an MRI to see what is going on; he may have ruptured a disk in his spine.
If that is the case, he may very well need surgery in the next few weeks; hopefully that will put an end to all his back troubles for good.
I got up at eight thirty this morning; have had my breakfast and my shower; also fed Emir his breakfast, and now he is napping. I will wake him up before I leave, then his grandpa Armand can watch him while I am at the clinic with Bill.
The kids are outside, playing; they are playing games ranging from hide-and-seek, kick-the-can, a makeshift baseball game, war, or hopscotch. They are enjoying the pretty early spring weather; we would too, if it were not for Bill's back. We'll probably be holed up at the emergent care clinic a good part of the day; this is what usually happens. Those doctors are awfully busy!
I will get back on the computer later to answer some of my e-mails; hopefully I can get some answered; usually something happens that keeps me from doing this; then my friends wonder where I've gone off to or if I have died. LOL
Well, the kids are calling me to look at their play, so I will go now. I will write in here either later today or tomorrow; hopefully I will know something about if Bill needs surgery. I hope not, but something has got to be done about his back troubles; if he doesn't, he's going to end up paralyzed and/or in a wheelchair for good!
Until later, this is Louisiana signing off. Au revoir, mes amis!
(((HUGS))) and love, your friend in Tennessee, Louie May. :)
