A poor poor dog whose been hurt so badly how did he ever survive.

Some kids were out in the park one day, boared, when they found a little fluffy puppy. They thought it would be fun to mess around with this poor innocent creature.

They took the pup over to one of the parks grills, set the pup on top, took a match and lit him on FIRE.

When they left, and the flame was out this poor innocent pup started running around in pain.  He didnt know what he had done to deserve this.

People saw him running around but didn't seem to care about him. It was then a five year old girl saw him and went to pick him up. Furrby (as he was later named) was very frightened. She looked at him, talked sweetly, comforted him, and took him to her mother.

They took him to the vet with horrible news to come. This little pup had thrid degree burns over his entire body and most likely wouldn't survive. They tried to save him anyway. Furrby under went about fifteen derastic surgeries, and suprisingly was doing very well. He was soon ready to put up for adoption.

The little girls family couldnt afford all the extra care he needed but sent out to find him a home. The police were hard at work during all of this trying to find the one responible for his pain. An eye witness came up and told them the whole story.  Sadly they never caught the kids who did this to him.

The family was having a hard time finding Furrby a home. While they were still searching his fur started to grow back. Thats when he recived his name"Furrby". He soon captured the heart of one of the vet assistants on his case. She almost immediatly feel in love with him. When she had heard the news that Furrby had no home she disscussed adopting Furrby with her husband.

After a long discussion they decided that they were able to adopt Furrby.

Furrby finally had a loving home where he could forget his past. He had a place where he could just have fun.

This dosent always happen. Alot of animals are just passed right by. Thousands of animals die a day due to cruelty. And to think all of these adults who should know better didnt even help Furrby. It took a little five year old girl to step up and help him.

Hooray for that five year old girl, the couple that adopted him, and for Furrby himself. I truly hope he leads a long life filled with love and kindness, and we truly need more compassionate souls in this world.
