Selfish motives,brought to mind,
By gifts I leave behind...

Autumn breezes
Move the chimes
That I gave to friends of mine

Early morning
Sweet Fall day
Let the chimes be me to say

Mother Earth
Move the chimes my friends to see
Moving music legacy

Old Man Winter
Never still my voice
Move the chimes

You have no choice

Pretty sounds please always ring out
So they may know they're thought about

The tinkling of the wind chimes evokes many pleasant and wonderful memories. When I hear mine, I remember where we were, when we bought them and the beautiful weekend my husband and I spent together.

Am thinking, you could also have posted this in poetry - the images and write are excellent.

Very nice, Jen. From someone who loves windchimes I really enjoyed...windchimes always seem to carry the memory of summer days at the lake or seaside cottage. Well done.
