My children are my blessings and that is why I am so determined to help find a cure for their sun allergy, A-T is a life changing disorder, any amount of sunlight can hurt my precious little girls, so we spend alot of nights playing baseball or basketball or playing outside, when most kids are in the house my family is outside because we do not want to keep our children locked in the house.

Or children are homeschooled and we use special lights in our house that wont burn our skin, but the truth of the matter is this disease are scary, most kids with A.T are in a wheelchair before there tenth birthday, and many do not make it past their teens, I am determined that my girls are going to be different.

Well I am going to cut this short, one of the girls is asking for a snack, nothing wrong with their appetites thank the Lord, but I am going to get through this, and I am going to help my girls through this.

God Bless

Hayleigh~

Excellent story about three special children who must be forced to live in darkness; hope that something can be done so they can enjoy the sunshine like anyone else. Sounds similar to xeroderma pigmentosum to me. Very well done!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :)

The Silent Song Birds by Hank LeGrand

Song birds sing everyday... or do they? Fanny May loved being awakened to the sound of the singing birds, except for one morning when their songs fell silent.......
