Well, I thought Phydoux had run off, but he has been at the computer again. I don't know what I will do with him. Let me share what he's up to now.

Well, now I’m excited!

I found out that if I hit certain buttons on my owner’s computer all kinds of things happen to that computer. They say it is the I-N-T-E-R-N-E-T. What a great invention. Now I can see a lot of things my master didn’t want me to see. Did you know there are millions of kinds of dog foods? They have designer dog food! There are nice doggy toys. I tried to print some of these off so my master could take the hint and buy some. You know, if we age seven years for each human year – we must have seven birthdays a year. That’s almost one a month. We deserve a lot of toys.

I discovered that there is a site for dog owners. It’s very self-centered. They talk about how they can control their dogs and keep them from doing things that sound very natural to me. They want to keep control. They’d have to get control first. I could only read this for a short time before I had to close it out and try something better.

I searched for another. By the way, my search engine is Dogpile. I like that one. Anyway, I found a site for Pet Lovers. That should be good. I felt like it would be better to be loved than to be owned. There’s no difference. It will still a bunch of human control freaks.

Then I found a bunch of strange sounding things called “blogs.” Strange! People can just talk about anything on their mind. I could see that some of them have pretty small minds. Some of them say bad things about people – especially politicians. Some are very philosophical and others contain poetry and things. These are interesting but there are millions of them. I don’t get that much time to use the computer.

I seriously entertained trying to start a doggy blog. I don’t know of any other dogs who would be able to read it. You see, I say humbly, I think I’m the only dog in the entire universe who types on a computer and I’m even more sure that I’m the only dog to discover the internet. I feel it in my bones. (By the way there is a site that sells all kinds of exotic dog bones).

I’m seriously considering it. I could blog for people and help them see what we dogs need. I’m trying to think of a title. My owner’s blog is “Lines From Larry.” I’ve thought of titles like:
“Phydoux’s Cold Wet Nose.” No!
“Cur-rent Affairs”
“Phydoux’s Phleas”
“The Doggone Best Blog”
“Doggy Bloggy”

I guess I’ll sleep on it. I’m good at that. I’ll go get that dog treat I hid under the sofa cushion, get a little water and take a nap.
