Phydoux Shares Some Emails

Phydoux is back. He talked about emails last time and now he has some questions about his email buddy. Something doesn't seem right.

Hey, people, this “Iscratchfleas” is starting to be kind of suspicious. I don’t know where he lives but he acts like he knows where I live. How can that be? Look at what he said:

“Hey, old Phydoux, it’s so good to talk to you. I’ve wanted to talk to you for a long time. I found your email address so I thought I’d give you a hollar. I was wondering why you get out on the street and run around so much? Don’t you know there’s a leash law? ”

What do you suppose he’s talking about. Nobody knows about that little hole in the fence which I can get through. I KNOW I never said anything about that to Iscratch. I’ve never said anything about it to anyone. He also has said some other things. How about this one:

“Do you know what happens when you are caught outside your property? You’d better be careful. They can run you in and your owner will have to pay a big fine. If your owner doesn’t do it – it’s curtains. :)”

The warning was OK but why the smiley face? This dog is not right. It sounds like he’d like to see me taken to the pound. He also said something about teenagers. I didn’t understand it and I haven’t looked up the definition. I tried to look it up but they told me there is no such work. Maybe old Iscratch is trying to scare me. Perhaps he was making it up. Or maybe he can’t spell very well. He said if the owner doesn’t show up they might “youthanize” me. Now I’d love to be younger. My teen years went by in two people years. I don’t know.

I don’t know what to think about ol’ Iscratch. I need to email him. It’s been several days so I’d better say something. I guess I’ll not bring up this dog catcher thing. Maybe I can get him talking about cats. That can get a dog off on a different planet. Maybe I could find out what he knows about my town by getting a list going about the best fire hydrants in town. We could talk about our favorite mailmen.

I’ll give it some thought and write something before tomorrow. You know to “procrastinate” is worse than to “amateurate”!
