Louisiana Sandusky writes in her journal to wish her friends a happy and blessed Thanksgiving.

Sunday, November 18, 2007, 4:13 p.m., C.S.T.~
Dear Journal~
Louisiana here.
I am writing to wish all my friends a very happy (not to mention, blessed) Thanksgiving holiday.
I will probably spend a good portion of the day here in my livin' quarters (i.e., my bed; have been on strict orders for bedrest from my obstetrician to quell the risk of delivering early; so far it's done the trick). We will go out to eat at Golden Corral on Thursday come lunch time after we watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC..
The family will be coming together: Anh due in Tursday, Dwerlina, Tanya, Lightning (and her brood), Stephanie, and Melizza due in on Wednesday. That means pulling out the extra "hide-a-beds", making room for our guests. It will be nice to have everyone home, together as a complete family.
Anh, Steffi, Dwerlina, Tanya, Lightning, and Melizza haven't met Vincente (our soon-to-be newest adopted child; right now he's been our foster child) or Bjorn, whom we adopted earlier this year. They are looking forward to meeting their newest little brothers in person. They also haven't met Emir, Vijay, Opal Lee, or Emma-Ruth; there will be lots of hugs and kisses to go around!
The kids will be happy to see their Colorado cousins again. It is always a happy time when the grandbabies come calling!
After we spend the rest of the day watching football (not to mention, resting our bellies), we will enjoy each other's company, then go to bed early for the shopping rush; the family plans on being out the door by six o'clock on Friday so they can beat some of the crowds, take advantage of the deals.
With our family, we need all the sales breaks we can get!!
As for me, while the family is battling the crowds, I can go "Hee, hee!" and lie here and do absolutely nothing!! :)
Right now we are having supper before the gang heads for church. Tonight it's grilled cheese and toast sandwiches, V8 juice, and choice of a banana, an orange, or an apple for dessert. Meanwhile, I am here in bed, typing away.
I did go out earlier today for lunch, but I got winded; therefore, I had to come home, lie down, so as to get my breath back. It doesn't take long before I am gasping for air. I am so huge it's unreal; it looks like I'm about to deliver OCTUPLETS instead of just twins!! I am as big as a whale!!
I even had to use some oxygen today just so I could breathe. That's how bad it's been for the past month.
Well, I am going to go to sleep; nothing much for me to do except lie here and feel sorry for myself. Take care, and may you have the best Thanksgiving ever! God bless!
~Love, your friend, Louie May. :)

I have to agree this reminds me of the Waltons that my daughter never missed, they were so loving and giving to all. Thank you for a wonderful story that you have shared.
Newfie Hugs coming your way, Rose |

| I heard somewhere that a whale's gestation is three years. I'm glad you're not actually one, but just feel like one! Hope that Thanksgiving is wonderful--with lots and lots of gravy. --Charlie |

| Warm and inviting. Reminds me of The Waltons, remember? Octuplets would, of course, be better than having octopuses since she's the size of a whale! I don't wanna cook! Cheers |
