Everything and everyone has a purpose and is loved by someone.
There was this car that this man and woman owned. This car was an upset to them. They didn’t like the color of green it was or the way it felt going down the road. They just hated everything about it and they regretted the day the salesman talked them into buying it. They hated it so much that they didn’t even bother themselves to wash it or clean it, nor even drive it unless they knew nobody they knew would see them. They wished they would have bought the luxury car they wanted. But for some reason they got talked into buying the car they didn’t’ want.
They had left for a weekend one time and took their other vehicle and upon their return they noticed that a very horrible smell came from inside the car. It was like an animal crawled inside and went potty in the car a few times. The stench was unbearable. They tried everything to get the smell out and nothing worked. A hint of the smell was always left there in the car. Finally they traded the car in at the car dealership for something they were happy with.
Months later the car was still sitting on the lot. The dealership was starting to think that no one will ever buy the car. They tried to move the car around the lot to see if someone would notice it. Once in a while someone would stop and look at the car who liked the color. But as soon as the customer would open the door they would immediately shut it again and return to their own car and drive away. Many months went by and still no buyer for the ugly smelly green car.
Finally one warm summer day a salesman notices someone pulling onto the car lot. He walks outside to greet them and notices the car that they are looking at. He sees a man and a woman looking over the ugly green smelly car. As the woman starts to open the door to look inside the car the salesman starts to cringe, and looks around for a place to hide from them knowing how they will react. He slowly looked up and seen them inside the car. The man gets into the driver side of the car and sits down. The salesman notices that they are liking the car. He walks up to them and starts up his sales pitch like it was a new perfect car. As he talks with them he gets a smell of the car from the breeze and wonders what is wrong with these people.
He then looks over at the car that they drove to the car lot and then realizes why they like the green one. Their car was much more disgusting than the green one. There were multiple dents and scratches on every panel. The car was full of papers and old food. They even spilled a few trash items on the ground when they got out of their car. The salesman sold that car that day and made that couple very happy.
It is true that there is something for everyone. There is a purpose for everything. Like the old saying goes. One mans trash is another man’s treasure. The situation of the man and woman who hated the car was different than the situation of the man and woman who wanted the car. The first couple had to come down and feel lower in life to drive the green car. The second couple was moving up by buying the very same car.
The situations on our lives bring us to all different levels so that everything will have purpose. Even a person you think is ugly will find someone who thinks they are gorgeous. The storms that the second couple had in life made it possible for the green car to be looked at as an improvement. Had the couple not have been through the storms they did go through then maybe the green car would still be sitting there today, because maybe they would have wanted the more expensive luxury car like the first couple. Even still, I know that there is even someone out there that thought the fancy luxury car was disgusting too.
