I am not placing here with copyright and any of that nonsense this is about all men ending the violence and doind all we can!!!!!!!!!!!!
REAL MEN DONT BATTER/ STRIKE OR ABUSE WOMEN AND CHILDREN!!!!!!!!!!!

It must have been around 1971, Summer Time'!
My mother had a friend who I will name Fe' and Fe lived Next door to us to an a Hotel turned apartment building where the walls were paper thing.
My mother has always had a authorative character and her dominance of two languages at that time really made many Latino American residents seek her friendship out for a number of reasons.  Fe lived with a batterer and one day my mother directly comfronted her on the obvious.

My mother told Fe'; You realize we have heard him hurting you Fe! We know , what have not you not told Me?
Fe bagan to cry and explained the gravity with which she was dealing in living with him. She defending him to most even though my mother knew better than to attack his character.
My mother interurpted and perhaps that was wrong  thing to do as we now know,. One should listen with love; meaning Listen to victim with one's entire being.

My mother asked Fe'? My son and I can hear you and he going from room to room . We are terrified for you.
Is he capable of Killing you?
Fe didn't know what to say, as we saw her bruses on her face. Which made me cry as I recall.
Well, I want you to understand that you don't deserve to be battered and abused. Fe's situation was resolved in a way I am not at liberty to discuss. Fe is alive to this day and has an incridible Job and House and family . I left out all details that could link me to her.
During my childhood I heard the horrrors of that from a far. Including one, ( THIS IS THE WORSE THING A VICTOM CAN DO ) is physically retaliate.
One female victim took upon herself to counter-strike victim in effort to minimize that battering and only escalated the situation. She too is a Survivor.

I place these factual stories here incase someone might wanna talk as well as links I will also provide that help more Than I can; all these sites have resources I am not able to provide.

Hello Richard...Thank you for your heart felt concern for the abused. A cause I stand firmly behind. This short testimony is very emotional, thank you for sharing your heart. It's obvious you really do care. But I did want to mention that it has several typos that may distract the reader...You may want to re-read and edit..... Thanks again...Sophia
