The Sugar Transport Explosion saga continues
as my sainted Mother Elizabeth lay half awake and half asleep,
And I lay in my room dozing, A huge blast from a mile away shook the house
I first suspected it to be a great thunder, (which it turned out to in fact be)
She ran in, Boy you hear that? I said "Yes'm" We ran outside, and wirens blowin, and neighbors gathrin.
I called the TV statoin. They had it.
And this is now making our town famous in a way we dont really want. Savannah is already famous and has been since the end of the Untied States Civil War.
I see Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church in port Wnetworht now, immediately across form Imperial Sugar,
and I think of The Story in Old France of Dear Bernadette , Patron Saint of all of France
bowing Prostrate before Our HolY mother, Which I say rewspecting the fact I am Primitive Baptist.
Yet I remember the scene from Jesus of Nazareth where Saint Elizabeth bow The Same way before THe Virgin mary
when JEsus mother went to see her cousin. ANd they were just overjoyed to see each other.
Saint Elizabeth bears my mothers most beautiful of names, Elizabeth. O Saint Elizabeth bowng before the most beautiful, and absoltue true st of all Soutehrn Ladies
Our Lords Mother.
And how this scene at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church, The Grotto Scene is touching this Huguenot Boy deep inside right now ahd has so done since that horrific explosion THursday night.
Port Wentworht of which I have been part all of my life wil never be the same again, Catholic Protestant or elsewise.
Please be in continued prayre for our city. God BLess you thank you and amen
