Mew! Mew!
Nutz. Just realized you don't speak Cat; sorry about that!
My name's Ricochet. I'm just a baby by Cat standards; I'm a lot younger than my big Sister, "Cajun".
And a lot cuter, I must say.
"Cajun" is a big, bulky Maine Coon, all different colors: red, orange, black, brown, tan, and white on her face, chest, and all four paws.
Me? I'm a little orangey-red kitten with green eyes and have white on my chest (and on my paws).
Let's face it: I'm adorable. :)
At least that's what the Humans say, especially when I entertain them with my bag of tricks. It doesn't take much for me to turn on the charm, get my Purr Machine going, and have the Humans oohing and aahing all over me.
I am well named: I run all over; I'm hardly ever still. There's so many interesting smells, so many interesting sights, so many interesting Humans to play with. I live in a huge house with many Humans, both big and small, young and old, and there's the other Cat, "Cajun", and several Dogs.
Not so sure about the Dogs just yet; the littlest Dog "Cajun Gold" barks too much; the biggest, "Marmaduke," could easily squash me if he stepped or sat on me. He has a very loud bark too; it sounds like thunder to my sensitive little Kitten ears!
There's also Birds and Gerbils and Hamsters; te me, the Hamsters and Gerbils look like big Mice or Rats. They don't really do anything either; they're not much fun. The Birds are too squawky, too noisy, and they flutter their feathers all over the place if they're bored, and then my Mommy Human has a giant mess to clean up.
She's always getting mad at the Birds.
I'm always getting mad at "Cajun" because she thinks she's the Queen of Catdom. She acts all hoity-toity, thinks she's all that. She walks around, strutting her stuff, her head held high, her bushy tail stuck up in the air, and if I try to be nice to her, she turns her little Kittycat nose up at me and threatens to swipe me a good one with her Paw. She's annoying; I can't stand "Cajun" at times!
Sometimes if I play with her, she'll slap me one and/or hiss like a snake at me; then I'm scootin' out of there because I'm afraid she'll beat me up!!
She's not afraid of nobody--or nothing!!
Like all Cats, I spend my days sleeping (usually); then I'm up at night, playing, exploring, snacking. Today is one of those days where I can't sleep, so I'm writing in here. This is my first attempt at Journaling; "Cajun's" done it before. She's an old pro.
Well, I am going to go now; am going to take me a catnap; getting mighty sleepy all of a sudden. I will write in here again; take care now!
Mew!
~"Ricochet". :)
