"Tell Him I Love Him"

Sitting in the lobby waiting for the One Day tour Bus to arrive, I couldn't concentrate on my book.  I kept glancing at the nearby snack counter wondering whether I should get something to eat.

Suddenly, I sensed the Lord speaking to me.  "Telephone Steve tell him I love him," said the Lord.

I thought, "Oh!  Lord I really don't want to miss my bus.  Besides Steve knows that you love him."

I could perceive the Lord waiting patiently I tried to think of any good reason to refuse I gave in.

As I stood in line, I was surprised when no one came up Behind me.

"If the bus should arrive," I said to the counter attendant.  "Please page me My name is Ann."

The lady behind the counter appeared to be fifty-ish and very friendly.  She had a beautiful smile.  "Ann I will page you when the bus comes," said the counter attendant.

"Oh! thank you very much," I said.

Approaching the pay-phone.  I put thirty-five cents in.  The phone began ringing Steve finally answered.

"Hello," said Steve.

"Hey! Steve," I said.

"How are you Ann?" said Steve.

"I'm ok! Steve.  Do you have a moment?"

"Yes," said Steve.

"God wanted me to tell you that he loves you And has a wonderful plan for your life."

For a second it was a brief moment of silence.  He whispered through a choked voice.

"You don't know how much I needed to hear that.  My business has been at a standstill for the last three months.  And I've been feeling like God doesn't care."

"Steve don't continue," I said.  "I feel your pain.  Let's share a prayer."

"That's a excellent ideal," said Steve.

"Prayer is surely always the answer," I said.  "Let's pray.  Father God in-the-name of Jesus...help my friend Steve.  Give him a sense of re-newed hope!  Lord let your word be mainefested with power and assured faith that, with you all things are possible...Amen

"Thanks Ann, for a great prayer.  Have a amazing day."

"Steve you have a amazing day as well." I hung up the telephone. The overhead pager announced, "Ann will you please prepare to board your bus," said the counter attendant.

"What a overwhelming feeling of joy," I said.  "I had obeyed God and it helped my friend Steve.

"I now incorporate in my prayers use me Lord as a instrument, to help others.
