Ronee' is more than ready for school to be overwith. This weekend, she will be performing at the CMA Music Festival, and she has some exciting things lined up for the summer.

Weds., June 4, 2008, 7:26 a.m., D.S.T., Nashville, TN~

Dear Journal~

Howdy!! It's your Cajun gal pal, Ronee' Le-Anne!  How are y'all doing?  Hope this finds y'all in fine shape!

Me, I couldn't be better:  school fixin' to end in only a few more days (I canNOT wait!!!!), performing this weekend here at the CMA Music Festival (performing on Saturday, as part of the Cajun Show lineup), will be signing autographs and getting autographs from my favorite singers, and in a few weeks, I go to Las Vegas for a chance to audition for a spot on the 2008 edition of "America's Got Talent"!  Life is good!! :)

My family is doing well:  no sick ones to write about; everyone in good health, everyone's moods in a positive upswing.  Grandpere' Armand was in the hospital briefly last week (had another angina attack; his chest pains him sometimes, has to take meds if it acts up), but he got sprung the next day.  So far, since being in the hospital, his heart hasn't acted up, thank the Lord! I pray this continues!

Weather sunny and warm here; have had some rounds of storms (yesterday, the day before; we were under tornado watches all day; it was scary, but thank God no tornadoes materialized here), but now the rains have moved on out, and it's supposed to be sunny with highs in the seventies.  I know what I'll be doing once I get home from school today: s w i m m i n g!!!! :)

Nicole is about all recovered from her last surgery; she's acting more like herself.  She and I have been trying to spend more time together, but she still seems distant somehow.  Wonder what's going on with her; she has me more than a little worried!  I will have to continue to lift her up in prayer!

In a few weeks, a huge Christian event will be taking place here.  The Will Graham Crusade will be in town for the weekend of the 22nd and 23; it actually starts on the 21st, on Friday, and it goes on Saturday and Sunday.  Several churches are taking part, and it is going to be a big time of music, praise/worship, testimony, and preaching by the grandson of Billy Graham.  I've seen him on television before a few times, and he's good!  He takes after his granddaddy; he has his talent for evangelizing! :)

I plan on going, by the way.  So is the family.  It will be a good time, I'm sure!!

Well, I have to go:  the home room bell fixin' to ring in a few; gotta get my butt in gear, get to class before I'm marked as 'tardy'.  I will write in here again soon; take care, and I'll probably write after the CMA Music Fest, let y'all know how it went!  Take care and God bless! Love ya!

~As ever, your Cajun friend, Ronee' Le-Anne. :D

P.S.:  See that bug?? That's how my mind feels now:  s c a t t e r e d, goin' every which way!!  LOL  The end of school always does that to me! LOL

And the "bug" caught one of my cat's eye, too! He tried catching it until I scrolled down :o)

Loved the write, the bug threw me for a loop for a minute! It came at a strange time...I was sitting here in my living room enjoying the quiet moments with my den friends and family when a smal spider came strolling across the rug beside me! Ah!!!! I really don't like spiders...he got away and I've been a bit jumpy since and then the bug on the screen!!!!!!!!!!!!!AHHHHHHhhhh!!!!!!! Got my attention for sure, but all kidding aside I enjoyed the write and yes we do feel scattered at times, but prayer, meditation, family and friends help us put things back into perspective. The Christian event sounds like a wonderful event, I would love to attend myself! Enjoyed this my friend! You are such a creative writer you should take Jill's challenge in story form or free verse and use one of your characters for the person who might rent the poetic home or be the landlord...I can invision a great write coming from your pen my friend! It was a fun challenge. I have a second poem to post in a few days that spun off from the inspiring challenge...just a thought dear friend know you are still in my thoughts!
Blessings from Ky.
