Dear Journal~
Louie here. Just woke up not even fifteen minutes ago; even the babies, now nearly seven months old, are still sleeping soundly; how cute they look! Everyone is down; it's very peaceful and quiet right now. Might as well take advantage of it! :)
Before I get started, let me wish my dear, sweet husband, Bill, a very happy Father's Day! As a matter of fact, happy Father's Day to ALL the daddies out there!! :)
I am so blessed to have my sweet Bill in my life. He is such a gentle, compassionate man with a servant's heart. He'd do anything to ensure your happiness in life! He's been a wonderful daddy to the children; he deserves to be spoiled on a day like today!
We are winding down; still have one more day to go here at the CMA Music Festival. We've been having fun getting autographs, posing for pictures, even performing (Johnathon and Ronee'; they rocked the house yesterday; they did a super job! We were so proud of them; still are! :) .
We get back home by this evening, but alas: no rest for the weary--Bill and Ronee' leave for Las Vegas tomorrow; Ronee' has her auditon for "America's Got Talent" on Tuesday. They'll be gone for a few days, while I and the rest of the crew head back home to recuperate from the CMA Music Festival.
I'll be sure to let you know how Ronee' did. Hopefully she'll make it this time around. She's really been practicing hard; she feels she's ready. I feel she's ready; she's really improved on her singing/musicianship skills! A natural-born performer if there ever was one! Yes, that's our Ronee'! :)
We had fun here at the CMA Music Festival: some of the stars we've seen include Kenny Chesney (my teenaged daughters think he's a hottie!), Faith Hill and Tim McGraw (two of the nicest people in show biz!!), Loretta Lynn (Ronee' and her talk like two old friends), Ronnie Milsap (still can work a crowd; he and Johnathon always enjoy visiting one another), Taylor Swift (not too familiar with her, but she's not bad), Kellie Pickler, Bucky Covington, and Jimmy C. Newman, to name a "few".
We've met country music fans from all over: Holland, Finland, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Croatia, Bosnia-Hergezovina, Spain, even Portugal, Italy, the Americas (Mexico, Chile, Argentina, etc.). All are as crazy about country music as we Americans are, sometimes even more so!
The foreign fans were fascinated by my family. They thought it was a good thing that we took in so many different children; they said we look like a living rainbow. :)
Well, the babies have just awakened, so I'd best tend to them. Shouldn't be too long before the rest of the crew awakes. Then we'll take dear ol' daddy out to breakfast, give him his cards and gifts, and then finish out our time here at the CMA Music Fest. Will write in here, probably in a day or two, if I have some spare time (what's that?? LOL). Take care and God bless!
~Love, your friend in Tennessee, Louie May. :)
