Louisiana writes to her friend Jenna before getting ready to go to work.

Monday, August 11, 2008, Nashville, TN, 4:44 a.m., D.S.T.~

Dear Jenna Anderson~

Hullo!  How are you doing? Hope this finds you well, reasonably happy!

I am sittin' here in the kitchen, drinking a cuppa coffee; got to have my morning coffee, or else I'm a big ol' grizzly bear the rest of the day.  You do NOT want to be around me when I have not had my java ; I am NOT pleasant!! LOL

Go to work today at seven; work until seven tonight (if I don't get called on to stay; that usually happens).  Hope it's a slow day today; I hate it when the s*** hits the fan, if you know what I mean!! LOL  I hope I have a good day today; have had a string of trying days at the hospital (people dying on me, arguing with the docs who think they're God, putting up with obnoxious patients, etc.); I'm ready for some good days!!

How is Adam doing?  Is he back home with you yet, or is he still with his daddy?  Let me know!  How are you doing, without the kiddo around??  Bet you're just lovin' it!!  I wish I could get away from my own kids at times; seems the only time I do is when I go to work--and then I'm STILL busy!! LOL  No wonder I get exhausted so much!  WHEEE!!

Ain't parenthood FUN??? LOLOLOLOL

Seriously, though, my own kids are the joys of my life, especially our two youngest, our twins, Ian and Isaiah, who will be one year old in November.  They were born last Thanksgiving Day.  They weren't supposed to be born until around Christmas; they had other plans.  Ever since then, it's been crazy!!  I've forgoteen just how much work babies are; they keep me on my toes!  LOL

Ian and Isaiah are getting to be really cute little guys, especially when we dress them up in their baseball hats or put their little suits on them.  They are so adorable with their soft, plump, kissable cheeks, easygoing personalities, and round little bodies.  They look just like their daddy, and they know how to turn on the charm with the ladies! :)

Yesterday, at church, Ronee' fell:  didn't hurt herself, but she did give us a scare.  She was going to the altar for prayer, tripped over one of her canes, and hit her nose on the altar step.  She now has a pair of black eyes and a badly bruised nose.  It looks like she went a few rounds with Muhammed Ali--and lost.  She tried not to cry; it didn't work.  I felt bad for her; I'm just glad it wasn't more serious than it was!

Then Johnny had a problem with his catheter bag, made a puddle, right there on the altar.  He was mortified.  Thank GOD I had extra supplies with me!!!  Boy, when things happen, they seem to happen in pairs, don't they??

At least nobody got sick or threw a seizure; compared to that, leaky catheters bags and busted faces are easy to handle!! LOL

After church, we went out to eat at Golden Corral; it was a madhouse.  A baseball tourney has been going on all weekend long; lots of baseballers, all ages, milling about.  It ws crazy!!  We had to wait a good forty minutes before we were even ready to be seated; and then our group just put the icing on the cake!!  When the employees saw our big bus pull up into the parking lot, in front of the restaurant entrance, it was like *WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!* LOL

We were so full from GC last night we didn't even GO to the evening service at church; we just laid around like fat, lazy slugs! LOL

We actually had a nice, quiet Sunday evening at home, the first one we've had in God knows how long!!

Well, I am going to go; coffee's getting cold.  Ain't nothin' worse than cold Cajun coffee! BRRR!! NASTY stuff, that! LOL  I will write in here again soon; take care, write back when you can.  Tell Adam hello, give him a hug from me.  God bless and have a nice day!

Love you!

~As always, your friend, Louie May. :D

Hi Karen Lynn,

This is very interesting, and I find coffee is an international "wake-up drink" ...can't go through a day without it.
The lives of people related here can fill a book...good writing!

Beliveme me, PeeWee Ed is a REALLY beast before his coffee in the morning, so, never mind a little mishap here and there, when you fall get up and forget that it ever happened. That's life! But my heart are going to Ronee and Johnny.
