Hash Brown Omelettes
Making breakfast is really harder than cooking dinner. If you have hash browns, eggs, sausage, and toast you end up having to cook it in the order of Hashbrowns, because they take the longest; sausage, which takes just a little less time than the hash browns; the eggs, which take your full attention ; and toast, which cooks about as fast as the eggs but needs to be buttered while still hot. Plus you have a frying pan for the hash browns, one for the sausage and one for the eggs. Unless you've devised a way to keep everything hot and not dried out while you keep reusing the same pan. I've found a solution. You have all of the above by making my Hash Brown Omelet found on page 95 of my book Stir, Laugh, Repeat. You will still have to cook the sausage before you start, but you can use the same pan for everything and it will all be served at the same temperature. This recipe works good with bacon too.
