Miss Cat is forced to be grateful when she heard Miss Dog's story.

ONE CHRISTMAS MORNING

One Christmas morning, Miss Cat woke up feeling very depressed.  Mr. Cat left her for Miss Kitty, her neighbor. Few weeks later, she lost her job.

“I have nothing to live for. I‘d rather die than facing the holidays,” she yelled.

She turned off her telephone, closed her doors and windows and went inside her room feeling sorry for herself.

“I am going to spend the entire holiday season inside my bedroom. I don’t want to see anyone because I hate my life,” she cried.

While she cried in her room, she heard Miss Dog talking outside her door.

“My husband left me, I just lost my house and have only two weeks to live,” said Miss Dog.

Miss Cat jumped quickly out of her bed, opened her door and went outside. She came face to face with Miss Dog.

“I couldn’t help hearing your sad predicament. I am so sorry,” she said.

“No, please don’t be. I’m having a blast, I am grateful for this day,” responded Miss Dog.

Miss Cat is so surprised by Miss Dog’s reaction that she’s in awe.

“Honey, this is my last holiday and I am going to enjoy every minute of it,” said Miss Dog.

“Can I join you?” asked Miss Cat.

“Only if you promise to have fun,” smiled Miss Dog.
