This is a fictional account of a letter to the President of the United States of America, as dictated by a pair of children somewhere in America...

Dear President Bush:

Hi!! How are you feeling? We both hope that you are feeling better after your test you had today. (Hospital tests are NO FUN; believe you me, we BOTH have had PLENTY!!) And we both hope that you get a lot of rest.

We are a pair of kids who live in Tennessee, in Nashville. The home of the Grand Ol' Opry and country music. Do you like country music, like your daddy, George, Sr., does? Or do you like something else? Our names are Johnny and Ronee' (Sandusky and Reaux are our last names; we are brother and sister, but we are NOT twins, although Ronee' IS a twin; she has a twin sister named Robyn), and we are both 9 1/2. I (Johnny) have blue eyes and blonde hair, and I wear glasses. Ronee' doesn't wear glasses. She has black hair and black eyes, and she is darker than me. But we are about the same size (although Ronee' IS a BIT shorter; but NOT by much!).

We are also physically handicapped. I have muscle dystrophy and am in a wheelchair and wear braces on my legs. My sister has pain in her joints and sometimes uses a wheelchair, but she mostly uses her crutches. She has artritis or something like that.(Uh-oh, I think I spelled that wrong.) But we are good kids, and we love to do a lot of things. Ronee' loves to sing country and Cajun music, and she also loves to play her accordion. She is really good. I hope you get to hear her someday. I love to sing, too, but I'm nowhere near as good as she is! My main thing is video games; I could probably beat YOU if you played a game with me!! I also love to collect Poke'man cards. (Do YOU have any, President Bush? If so, which ones do you need? We could probably trade some cards, to help get your collection bigger...)

What do you like to do for fun, President Bush? Do you like to play games? If so, what are your favorites? What do you like to do before you go to bed? Hopefully your mommy made you say your prayers. Our mommy does. She makes sure we thank God each and every day for what we have. Do you go to church on Sundays? We do; we go to Christ Community Assembly of God Church here in Nashville; it's not far from where we live. And before we go to church we all go to the Golden Corral for breakfast. Have you ever eaten at a Golden Corral, Mr. Bush? If not, you should try it; they really have good food! And besides, our older sister, Steffi, works there. (I'm sure she wouldn't mind you dropping in if you are ever in Nashville...)

We are both praying that you are okay, and that you help us get the terror-ists who attacked America last September 11. That was really a sad time; and for a while I was scared because I have a brother, Erich, who lives in New York City; and I was sure he had been killed; but then I heard from him; and I was SO happy!! But we knew a lady who worked at the World Trade Centers, and she was killed when the buildings fell. Her name was Stephanie. We miss her badly. We pray for America and her safety, and we pray for you and your workers; and we pray for those terror-ists who did this to America. God CAN change hearts; he CAN help the terror-ists change theirs and make them repent for what they did.

We both think you are a good man for the President's job. You are a Christian, and that makes us both glad, because we are Christian, too!! :) We believe in Jesus Christ and Salvation, too, just like you do! We'd rather have a man like you as President than someone like Osama bun Ladin (or whatever his name is)...He is a jerk...

Well, Mr. Bush, we know you must be tired from your test you had this morning, so we will let you get your rest. Until later, feel better soon, keep your faith in Jesus, and may He bless you RICHLY!! And may He bless America and her people!!

We love you, President Bush!!

Love,
Your Two American Friends (and fellow Christians),

Johnny Sandusky/Ronee' Reaux.

P.S.: PLEASE don't let the Supreme Court take out "Under God" from our Pledge of Allegience!! :(

And aren't you the one who doesn't like jelly beans? Or is that broccoli? In ANY event, if you don't want either of them, we wouldn't mind eating them..we both love jelly beans and broccoli.
