7:50 P.M EST
Mamma and I watched a little of the Inagruation on television today. Mom voted for Mccain, but she says because Obama is now our president she will show him the deserved respect. I will say one thing for him he is a good speaker, but are his words just words, or is he going to act?
In other news the children are all doing well, the twins are growing like weeds and Maddie has graduated from walking with crutches to using canes. I know it has been a long hard road for her, but she is stronger than some see.
Susie and I really aren't hanging out much lately. I don't really know what it is happening. We see each other at the College Campus and I try to call her, but I feel like we are a million miles away.
Healthwise I am doing well. No more unexpected injuries, and no colds thank the Lord. They can turn dangerous for me! I am so blessed, and I know that. Some of the doctors are amazed I have made it this far with pain insentivity disorder. As you know I have already lost both of my legs due to infections that set in without me knowing, but it really hasn't slowed me down.
Johnny and I are back together. Perhaps that is why Susie is upset with me. I really don't know.
Tanvi is doing well. I am so glad we were able to adopt her.
I have been spending alot of time in prayer, for Obama and his wife. He is going into office during an economic recession, and the truth is even today, there are those that will judge him because of the color of his skin. I feel that is just ignorance, but sadly even today it happens!
I am going to be working on a piece about the inagruation for the Creative Writing class. I told Karissa I would. She is doing okay herself, she was hospitalized a few weeks back, but she is doing better praise Yeshua.
I am praying that Barrack Obama can help this nation get out of the mess we are in. Thankfully my parents have savings, but that is not always the case, and already they are talking about cutting down Dad's time at the firm. It is a scary situation but we know Yeshua provides.
I am going to close this entry with a quote from Barrack Obama's Innagural Address:
"The question we ask today is not whether our government is too big or too small, but whether it works, whether it helps families find jobs at a decent wage, care they can afford, a retirement that is dignified. Where the answer is yes, we intend to move forward. Where the answer is no, programs will end. And those of us who manage the public's dollars will be held to account to spend wisely, reform bad habits and do our business in the light of day, because only then can we restore the vital trust between a people and their government."
