I intended for my non-fiction book Cornucopia of Evil to have two underlying messages. First, to show that regardless of one's life tragedies, life can still be filled with rewarding accomplishments. And, the reason everyone must stand-up for honest and law abiding judges. I am doing the same thing retired Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor is doing about the lack of independent judges but in a way average folks can understand. The only way our society can ever expect to have fair and law abiding judges is with a well informed public. With the support of the public my book and the forthcoming movie, "The Documentalist", based on my book will contribute a major role in accomplishing my mission. That is my hope.
Since I don't own a TV station, radio station, newspaper or magazine I purchased a motor coach so I could literally take my book door-to-door to readers, especially in small towns where the big New York and California authors never go. I am available to speak to television and radio talk shows, book clubs, newspapers, civic organizations and church groups.
This book is full of tantalizing, sometimes heart-wrenching stories of surviving a deadly childhood disease, the innocent era of growing up in the 50s, unusual military duty, caring for aging parents and their deaths, marriage, divorce and being a single Dad, serving as a juror on over a hundred trials, owner of an island in the Caribbean, leaving a 20 year banking career to create and provide an urgently needed service for all types of tragedy victims, deaths of 10 year old child and wife, amicably mediating hundreds of divorces before lawyers made themselves mediators, exhumation of his childs remains for an autipsy, and being in the cross-hairs of corrupt judges, lawyers, doctors, hospital, public officials, banks, and other participants in corrupt enterprises.
