"Suddenly, I no longer feel like a giant. At six-foot-nine-and-a-half, it's rather hard to miss seeing me."

Bill's musings, ranging from family life to world-record breaking feats of amazement.

Dear Journal~

Bill here.  Sorry if I haven't written; have been busy keeping the troops under control at home or working at Wally*World.  When I do have some free time, to where I am able to write, something always happens to interrupt my time away from my laptop, so I don't get anything accomplished.

I hope you understand.

We have been well.  Now, Louie updated you on some of the kids' shenanigans, so I won't go through them again; however, I will say this:  God continues to have His hand upon our little family (I use the term "little" loosely; there ain't anything "little" about us!  LOL).  We consider ourselves extremely blessed; so many other families are going through unbelievable struggles that we can't even begin to imagine!

Today, I am off work.  So is my wife, Louisiana.  We're both home to man the house, so hopefully things won't get out of control.

I have been following the news.  Each day, I fear more and more for our country; Obama continues to drive our nation towards a path of socialism.  He continues to give me a sense of dread.  People are finding out just what a bonehead he really is; I don't like the man; never have, never will.

I also have been following the case involving a missing Yale student.  Well, her body was found, and they finally arrested the person who was responsible for her death.  A lab technician, aged 24, was officially charged with murder and is now awaiting sentencing.  Her body was found on what would have been her wedding day.

In addition, yesterday, I heard about this man in Turkey who is the world's tallest man.  (There was a man in Russia who was taller; the man refused to be measured, so this Turkish man now holds the title, even though he is, in actuality, four inches shorter.)  This man is named Sultan Kosen.  He has what is known as pitiutary giantism.  He stands 8'1" tall.  His hands measure 10.8" in length.  His feet are massive:  14.4".  He uses crutches to stand and for walking.

Let's face it:  suddenly, I no longer feel like a giant.  At six-foot, nine-and-a-half inches tall, it's rather hard to miss seeing me.

Compared to this fellow, I'm a little person.  LOLOLOLOL

We would have watched "America's Got Talent" last night; we missed it.  Church.  Heard Susan Boyle from Britain paid them a visit and had the crowd on its feet.  Also found out that Kevin Skinner, a chicken farmer from Kentucky, took the winning spot away from opera sensation Barbara Padilla.  Will have to see the tape of it on YouTube, if someone didn't forward a tape to me in my inbox.

Right now, it's peace and quiet, with the little ones still asleep in their beds.  The only ones who are up are Louie, me, and the animals, who have already been watered/fed.  The weather is raining out:  don't have to tell me that; my arthritis is letting me know firsthand.

*OW*

The other kids are in school; we won't expect them back for at least six/seven hours.  We may even get to take the little ones out with us to eat and maybe go shopping (take a busman's holiday, go to Wally*World!  LOL).  We have our whole day mapped out ahead of us; anything can happen!

Might as well take advantage of this while the getting's good!  :)

Dang fool cats:  seems that "Ricochet" is picking on "Cajun" again:  the two of them are scurrying about the house, meowing and hissing like crazy.  Seems that "Ricky" never gives the other cats (or animals) a moment of peace.  I'm ready to stuff the littler cat into the bigger one's mouth, so she can have him for breakfast!  LOL

Well, gonna let you go.  Think I'll join wifey in the kitchen and have some more of her piping-hot, steaming chickory coffee:  anything to warm these 90-year-old joints (actually, they're forty three, but they feel more like ninety three!).  LOL

God bless; talk to y'all again soon!

~Bill.  :D

Don't know why this didn't show up on the Stories list. It's very well written. Bill writes a newsy little entry this morning. Wow. 8'1" tall, that guy from Turkey? Makes Bill look positively ... tiny. LOLZ! Great job, Karen.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
