Experimenting

The reality game went on for what seemed like eons. Could something like this which was brought to life actually become quite boring? The outcome was predictable as it always had been since its inception. The vastness of a darkened cold existence without senses now brought to feel warmth and comfort. It was good. Like the talking pictures. The brightness of a billion lights which so much resembles the stars of the heavens. Yes, the beginning was fascinating. Even adding a touch of wonderous splendor of early reality to the game was predictable. Warning signs flash repeatedly once again. They have exhausted all life support systems fail. They look skyward  and there was much hope and prayer for a way out. Centuries of  mighty kingdoms rose and fell with the stroke of a key. Epic battle scenes pitting intelligence and strategy were for the most part entertaining although the outcome could have been determined at any time. He sighed heavily.

He had to give many of them credit to a degree. Freewill. The variable. There had to be some degree of challenge as in any game. The heated debates as to roads to choose. The who, what, when, and of course the whys of the future.  Of course, He could not fail. It was not in his program. To win the game he so designed, everything he created must be in harmony. There is no room for error within his domain. Perhaps next time.  He reached or the delete button. Game over.
