Family History of Howard Campbell
 Fought in the Monmouth Rebellion in Scotland which backfired.Had to flee for his life.The family went to Ulster Ireland which was British controlled.Gave up his herititary title of Sir William Campbell.Fought in the battle of Londonderry as a Major and Lt Colonel in the British Army.Given land grants in Massachusetts for himself and his two sons in 1718.Died.His two sons James and Samuel Campbell came to America in 1728 first settling in Boston then Cherry Valley New York.James had 2000 acres and operated the first grist and saw mill in Cherry Valley New York.
