Diana Schuur was singing “How About Me?” as I was thinking about you. You said we were through, I thought, what will I ever do? The answer came the next day, on the plaza, by the fountain, he was holding a drink, about to sip from the cup, I bumped into him, bought him a new drink, and now he is the new you.

Interesting writing, Mr.Johnson. I think it would get more exposure had you placed it into the poetry section and declared it a prose. Very nicely written.
