Medusa continues her story.

Howdy!  It's your friend, Medusa! Medusa Jones!

I'm doin' fairly okay; was sick with a nasty cold, but other than this naggin' cough, I'm doing better.  Sure is a pain to be sick; thank God for the Free Clinic ...

I had a pretty nice Christmas:  got some food and warm clothes from the Missions Church; at least I can be warn and not starve to death ...

Still haven't heard from my ex or from Turquoise, my girl: I sure do miss them so bad! I think of them all the time; I wonder what they are doing or if they even think of me ... I sure would love to see my baby girl, and give her a hug, but my ex is being a jerk butt, and it hurts! It really, really hurts!  Sometimes I get so upset I get stabbin' pains in the center of my chest!

I get scared whenever this happens because I'm scared I'm havin' a heart attack or something!

I do know this much: my chest been hurtin' since I had this cold; if it don't get no better by tomorrow, I'm haulin' my big, black butt to the Free Clinic, and see if they can do something about it: it's about to drive me slap crazy!!

The weather, it sure ain't helpin': colder 'n a monkey's backside out there! Been stayin' inside at the shelter or at the Missions Church, so I don't freeze to death.  The weather surely ain't helpin' my chest pain any, that is for certain!!

I hope I don't got the pee monia in my lungs ... I can't afford to go into no dadburned hospital!!  And I don't relish the idea of getting stabbed, poked, or prodded with needles or havin' complete strangers see all my assets!  That's nothin' short of embarrassing!!

Well, my chest is hurtin' bad again, so I'm gonna lie down and rest.  I hate being sick, and I hate this dang coughing even worse! (If you find a lung, please return it back to me.  I'd like to keep it in its original place! Thank you in advance!)

~Love, your friend, Medusa.  :(

It is sad when you survive the hard way, being sick adds no comfort.
Great write Karen maybe some will realize how lucky they are.
