Two years ago my world was turned upside down.
My sophmore year was going in full swing and then bam my life was turned upside down.
In the time it took for a car to loose control I lost control of my life.
I was paralyzed from the waist down.
Not an easy pill for a fifteen year old to swallow, but I had to remain positive, if I didn't the negativity would drown me.
Besides despite what the doctors said, I was determined to walk again.
I have every intention of walking to receive my diploma.
Even if someone has to help me, I am not going to be sitting in that chair.
I know the chair is a necessary part of my life now, and I am grateful for it, some do not have even the freedom a wheelchair will give them, but I have every intention of walking down to get my diploma.
My best friend Meegin will be there to help me if I need it, we already talked to the principal about this, but its a surprise for my parents.
I'm giving them a graduation gift, Sienna style LOL!
Thankfully even my physical therapist is keeping this a secret.
I am so glad for that.
So glad for the support of my family and friends,
I know in life, there are really no small steps, not when it comes to overcoming the affects of an sci.
