The Thomassies continue their ways, much to the annoyance of their next-door neighbor ... and now there's a baby in tow.

I wish I could say that the Thomassies, our lazy-assed, good-for-nothing neighbors, have moved away, but alas ... this isn't to be.  They're still here.  Just my luck.

Willis is claiming that he has bipolar disorder; he is trying to get his SSDI check increased.  He is just as fat (and as lazy) as ever, with his wife working two jobs, just so she can support his lazy ass.  And now there's a new wrinkle: the Thomassies have a brand new baby, a little girl, born just last week.  I hear her crying at night, and it seems to be nonstop.  It's making me (and my poor dad, who is disabled with MS) a nervous wreck!

My dad's disability claim has been denied.  Again.  Same old crap: "not disabled ENOUGH"!!  Just how disabled does my dad have to be??  He cannot walk without the aid of crutches (or a walker, or using a wheelchair or scooter for longer treks); he's always going to the hospital for one thing or another!  The poor guy cannot work; yet they're going to deny a retired Veteran his just rewards while giving lazy-asses like the Thomassies who abuse the system all the breaks and benefits??

If you ask me, I think their excuse of their being in Hurricane Katrina is a crutch, a crutch that they milk for all its worth.  They use that to gain sympathy for people.  And now that they have a kid, that will only give the Thomassies more excuses to get the help they think they need.

I think they both have rocks in their heads, especially Willis, the husband.  Now that they have a little baby, they will probably get food stamps, or get free food/milk from agencies like Wic and whatnot.

Seems that if someone has a kid, everyone's eager to bend over backwards to help while poor, struggling people like my Veteran daddy get screwed by an uncaring system yet again.

It just doesn't seem fair!

It's getting to the point to where I am seriously thinking of moving away from where I live.  I can't take the Thomassie's shenanigans much longer, and my daddy's only going to end up getting sicker and sicker (or dying) if something isn't done soon to help him!

Those that abuse the system get far; those who really need assistance are denied. Anger and sadness in these lines -- well done, Karen.
