Title: Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal

By: LaQuinton Holliday

Chapter One

Smooth Criminal

The setting was 1987 in Los Angeles.  A humid day and a silent night.  No evil was done in the city of Los Angeles, so it was thought.  On the other side of town, "The King Of Pop" Michael Jackson was rehearsing for his music video "Smooth Criminal."  With a good day of rehearsal, Michael and his manager Frank Dileo collected their belongings, and proceeded to leave.  "Michael, impressive work back there," Frank Said.  "Thank you Frank, I gave it all that I had," Michael said proudly.  Michael did an "in-mind" checklist to make sure that he had all of his belongings.  Michael noticed that he did not have his sunglasses.  "Frank!  Wait here, I forgot my sunglasses."  Michael ran back into the studio set.  He spotted his glasses, and walked over to retrieve them.  Out of no where five guys appeared and Michael with a puzzled look on his face said, "Who are you?"  One of the henchmen replied, "...... Your worse nightmare."  Michael says, "Okay, if you won't tell me, I will just have to find out the hard way."  Michael was in a situation where he had to fight for his life.  After the battle, Michael jumps for answers.  "So now, like I said, who are you?" The guy says: "Alright, Alright (Cough, Cough) my name is John Sanders, I work for one of the biggest names around."  Michael Says: "Who?" John Sanders says: "Ricardo Ramirez" Michael says: "But why does he want to get me?" John Sanders Says: "You have all of the fame and fortune, and your name is all over the world, he has a list, the list is called "The Future".  He wants all the so called big shots in town gone so that he can rise over all."  Michael looks worried for a second, and then an angry look appears on his face.  "Where is he located?"  Michael says fiercely.

Chapter Two

Reuniting of The Jacksons

After the drama that Mr. Ricardo's henchmen tried to commit on the king of pop, Michael found himself on the phone.  His phone rung, and on the other line, it was his brother Jermaine Jackson.  The two conversates for a short minute, the conversation went like this:

"Michael: Hello?

Jermaine: Are you okay?

Michael: Sure... yeah what are you talking about?

Jermaine: They called my phone, saying that they were going to try and destroy The Jackson Five.

Michael: Jermaine, we are six men strong, each individual is dominating, we can take him.

Jermaine: Yeah you’re right, come by my house, it's time to get The Jacksons back together."

Michael looked around, and thought: "What is going on?... What have I ever done to the world?... The answer will come out soon."  Michael got in his car and drove to Jermaine's home, when Michael arrives, all six of The Jackson's are at his house.  Michael and his brothers greet, and then silence is broken when the oldest Jackie Jackson says: "What are we going to do?"

Michael: "Don't worry; it will all come to an end soon."

Jermaine: "I hope so."

{A knock is at the door}

Jackie runs and opens the door, looks down, and notice that a letter is on the doorstep.  Jackie receives the note, walks inside, and reads the note aloud.  The note reads:

From: Ricardo Ramirez

To: The Jacksons

I do not know how you all escaped; I was for sure that you all were out of the picture.  Meet me face to face in the nearest alley way.  I will get you.... I will get you.

The Jackson's wasting no time, getting into the car.  In one car, The Driver is Jackie Jackson, Marlon, and Jermaine.  In another car, The Driver is Michael Jackson, Randy, and Tito.  On the way to the "MEETING," the car was silent, as silent as a cold winter night.  When The Jacksons arrived in the alley way, The Jacksons got out of the car, and look around.  Marlon notices two black Chevys pull up blocking the entry way.  With 10 guys all together, 5 exits out of one car, 5 exits out of the other.  One of the henchmen said, "Jacksons!  Mr. Ramirez could not make it...  He had other things to do.  He left it to us to destroy you!"  The henchmen all laughed manically.  The Jacksons with an angry look on all six of there faces charged at the henchmen.  So there they were, The Jacksons reuniting in a way so unexplainable, that it's unbelievable.  Grunting, screaming, and fists pounding that's all you could hear, using any and everything that they could, beating the henchmen.  The Jacksons took no hesitation after the fight, and went back to Jermaine's house.  “I can’t believe this, tricked again.”  Michael says with an angry voice and a look of fury on his face.  Jermaine replied, "I know, but one thing is for sure, The Jacksons will get their revenge."  The Jackson's hugged and said there goodbyes, and proceeded to leave the place that the Jacksons could reunite.

Chapter Three

Leave Me Alone

A month later, Michael was some what better from what happened.  It was yet again another life or death situation.  Michael woke up, and seen that he had a missed call from his manager Frank.  Michael returned Franks call:

Michael: Hello?

Frank: Hey Michael, I just called to say we're here behind you.

Michael: Thanks Frank, I hope to be back in the studio soon.

Michael is in a writing mode, so he sits down on his bed with a pencil, and a piece of paper, and proceeded to write what was on his mind.  One week later, Michael is seen the studio recording his song "Bad" singing the verses: "You're butt is mine, going to tell you right, just show your face, in broad daylight, I’m telling you, oh how I feel, going to hurt your mind, don't shoot to kill," then the take is over.  Michael and Frank take a break and conversate about Michael's situation.  "Frank, believe it or not, I'm kind of scared,” Michael says slowly and nervously.  Frank replies, "Michael, you have family, friends, FANS, that will help you out.  Just take the opportunity to take it."  But how do I know who's really on my side? Michael asked.  "Michael, just ask."  Frank replied.  "I am pretty sure that if the bad event that took place with the Jacksons was a complete success, then you are destined to dominate.  In other words, if The Jacksons are by your side, then we all are."  "Thanks Frank," Michael says.  "But are you by my side?"  "All of the way Michael.  Say, let's go to the bar and have some fun.  It will take your mind off of things."  Frank said.

On the way to the bar, Frank told Michael to stop by his house, that he had something to give him.  Frank hands Michael $2,000 for recording "Bad," and also hands Michael an AK-47.  Michael with a nervous look on his face rejected the weapon.  "Do not be afraid Michael," Frank said.  "This is a symbol.  If you are going to try to find the people that tried to ambush you, then you have to protect yourself when necessary."  Michael replied, "Guns Frank?  I always said violence should not be a choice."  "This is not violence, this is protection," Frank said.  Michael, with a bad feeling in his heart, accepts the weapon.  On the way to the bar, the car was silent; Michael was still processing what Frank just did.  When they arrived Michael noticed a pretty young thing in a red dress staring at him.  The lady blew a kiss to Michael, Michael felt honored and loved and blew one right back at the lady.
