Story about my pet friend turtle Ed

There is a special place deep down in my heart for my pet turtle I have called Eddie. When I play with him I call him Ed for short like my Uncle Ted it rhymes with his name. He sometimes get wet and I would try to feed him milk like a mom feeds a baby but it doesn’t work because Eddie doesn’t like it. Eddie’s favorite toy is a broken white rubber diflated balloon. He tries to eat it too that is very funny I think. Uncle Ted said it looks like snapping turtle he has seen up close before but I  never saw the turtle snap so I don’t believe him. I put a toy ball in the tank to play with because I like playing with the balls and the turtle too. He likes the small marble balls and I gently flick the ball at the turtle to play catch but Ed doesn’t catch it because he doesn’t have hands. He puts his head inside his shell when he sleeps and when I wake up in the morning I rub the top of his shell like my Uncle told me do really fast and Ed’s head pops out and I see him smile at me. The man in the pet shop told me to put a piece of wood in my tank and the turtle can play with the wood with me. I gave Ed the wood and he climbs on it. He tried to chew it too but it’s not good to do that with the wood in the turtles mouth. When my Uncle isn’t around I like to put the turtle on his back and rub his belly. He moves his feet around like a baby and one time he peed when I did that so I don’t do that anymore because I don’t want to get sick. I love my turtle and he is special to me. God made these creatures to give us pleasure and know that we don’t all have to look pretty to get love. My turtle is not pretty but I give him love in a special way because it will make my Uncle satisfied and Jesus too. Well I have to go now. I feel a turtle head poking out as I write. See you all! God Bless!
