A young girl tries to figure out how she ended up in the hospital.

I am trying to figure out things.  Things like how I ended up here in the hospital, for one thing.

Yesterday, I was at the carnival with some friends.  I was on this kiddie duck ride in which the riders can make the thing spin by turning this wheel in the center of the seat where we sat, and we were going around at a pretty good clip.  Then somehow the seat came off the ride, and ... that's the last thing I remember before I woke up earlier.

I do know one thing: I have the world's worst headache and the pain in my body isn't that far behind.  I guess it was a freak accident or something, but I wondered what happened to make the seat come off.  I know Gloria and I don't weigh THAT much!

My parents are with me.  They are sitting by my bed, with very worried looks on their faces.   Yet at the same time, they look highly relieved now that I am finally awake.

I am gonna have to ask some serious questions about the accident or what happened after the stupid bright yellow duck flew.

I wonder how long I am gonna be here in the hospital.  Hopefully it won't be more than a few days at the most.  I just wonder what I look like: that is, if my head is all bandaged up or if my face is all black and blue or if I have any teeth missing.  I will tell you this much: my body hates me right now.

I will write more; right now my head is hurting too much.  OW!!

Poor little girl got hijacked by a yellow duckie.
Glad that she's awake. Too bad about the headache, though.
