Bob King writing. Hope this finds you well. We are doing well; thanks for asking! Now that my blood pressure is under control, I can function a lot better, thanks to medication that I take twice a day (plus I get it checked every three months at the good doctor's). Last year, I was having double vision and dizzy spells; when I went to have it checked, my blood pressure was found to be sky high.
I was on the verge of having a massive stroke. It was that serious, but thank God, the doctor caught it in time, which was a huge answer to prayer!
My wife, Anna, is doing well: still busy homeschooling our brood and taking care of the littler ones. The two youngest (both boys, Nichollas and Avery, ages 6 and 3) keep us hopping; they'are both absolutely wonderful! They are the apples of our eyes!
Leena hasn't had any more problems since her last back surgery last year. Her back has remained nice and straight and she is no longer in any pain, which has been nothing but miraculous.
Tyorek is still using his wheelchair and has gotten weaker, but his attitude remains upbeat. He's a great kid!
Piper, who has JRA, is twelve now and has her good days and bad in relation to her pain. She has never let it stop her much; Piper is a walking miracle and a shining testiment to the grace and mercy of a loving God in life's difficult circumstances!
We are in the process of adopting a new child: a little girl, aged four, from China. Her name is Xie Lian, and we have been at this since January/February of this year. She is due to arrive any time; we couldn't be more excited!
At first, the boys were worried that they were no longer the babies, but they calmed down once I told the youngest (Avery) that he would still be the baby, as his sister was four. He is three. He accepted that answer (sort of!).
Well, Avery is yelling about something, so I will go now. I will write in here again soon; until later, this is Bob King signing off! Take care; may God bless you always!
~Bob.
