Reconstructing Momma's Love

When my mom died in my arms many years ago, I was lost in grief and began throwing clay onto an armature in a vicious attack needing a way out of my pain.

Bereavement is not easy for us who selfishly want our loved ones close to us for our own comfort. I was not prepared to let her go even after months of watching her health decline. My angels seemed to give my hands wings to express my pain.

They flew around fiercely in a way I can only compare to - - automatic writing. I believe my hands were guided by angels. Without looking at a picture, the lump of clay turned into a sculpture of my mom. I didn't have enough experience to know how to do what I was doing.

When I was done, I knew my angels were helping me digest mom's death and this act grounded me with enthusiasm and confidence to try and live without her.

Subtly all my years of creative expression turned from the idea of my feeling good to the idea of helping others feel good. My partnership with my angels swept me into a kind of story that was bigger than I ever intended.

We do not always see eye-to-eye with God and his messengers. There are always plenty of things to worry about and plenty of excuses for not living the best life we can. Angels are our behind-the scenes team. They help us be who we were meant to be. If you have a personal or career entanglement, think about how your angels can help you. Let your imagination run on this idea.

Don Gilmore, author, says: "I believe that angels are forms, images, and expressions through which the essences and energy forces of God can be transmitted and that, since there are an infinite number of these forms, the greatest service anyone can pay the angelic host is never consciously to limit the ways angels might appear to us."

By letting a stream of purity flow through our work or personal lives, we contribute to the world in which we live. Angels are like balls of creative energy bouncing around us by a gentle comfortable wind. Acknowledge your angels when you are in the flow and they will fill your consciousness with what you need at the moment to complete your needs at the moment.

If you wonder why we are here on earth, most of us believe humans are here to create in our own unique ways. We keep our life force strong by partnering with God's angels.

Angels want to encourage us to have fun, be wild, laugh, frolic, play, be courageous and spontaneous. Acknowledge your angels and they will dance within and around you. It is my mission in life to inspire others to reach out to their angels. It is said, we humans, are each of us angels with only one wing; to fly we need only to embrace each other.
