First work of highschool and already I feel out of place

It doesn't help that I am hard of hearing, born this way, not something I asked to be born with, but I was, and so why complain about it, you know what I mean?  I am not the one with the issue, others are.

I wear hearing aides to help me hear (not that I like to) but its something I must do.

I had difficulty with some subjects because of the hearing, but I have had the help I needed and extensive speech therapy, makes me sound like I don't have a mouth full of cotton. 

Some people tell me they can't tell I don't hear so well, I take that as a compliment.

I just wish people would mature by highschool, but sometimes teenagers are worse than little kids.  I am sure you know what I mean.

Well I was supposed to write this for Language arts, so here you go.  I am sure Mrs. Gladeau will be happy.

And yes I will say God bless in all of my entries if I feel like it, whether  or not its politically correct in school or not.  I am a Christian, I refuse to hide my faith in school.
